Hi my name is Rodney Donaldson. I am starting my PGA traineeship here at Sharpies in February. I moved here at the end of March with the possibility of doing this traineeship. I have already learnt a lot from Andrew McNair so I am really looking forward to the challenge and the opportunity of becoming a PGA professional.

I am originally from Wanganui and grew up playing at Castlecliff Golf Club from a young age and spent many days out there from sunrise to sunset. I have always enjoyed the challenge of the game and continuing to try and improve on the course.

After spending a year living in Canada working at a golf course for the summer made me realize that I wouldn’t be happy not working in golf so I set out looking for a job I would enjoy and I have been taken in here at Sharpies and I love it.
